Hi there!

I'm gearing up and making a difference by fundraising for a cause that's close to my heart. The Mark Hughes Foundation funds vital research and support to brain cancer patients and I am going to walk 150kms in three days from Sydney to Newcastle to help raise funds for this cause! 

I am fundraising because Dad was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in May 2024, and he died too quickly from this horrible cancer in September 2024.

Dad was an amazing human being. He wasn't just Dad, he was one of my best friends. He was always fit and so happy to help and he loved chasing around his 7 grandchildren. He was such a wonderful human being that is so terribly missed.

I also am fundraising as since Dad was diagnosed, I know of 3 other families in the Dubbo community that have loved ones with brain cancer. I can't stand that this cancer is so terminal in nature and there is no cure. So i want to help and do something so no-one else has to go through what our family went through.
