Story
Hi my name is Michelle,
I'm gearing up and making a difference by fundraising for a cause that's close to my heart. My amazing brother Adam 'Simmo' Simpson, was diagnosed with this insidious disease. My brother was a WARRIOR, he battled this disease for 14 years, never ever complaining. I want to honour him and make a difference! A promise I made to myself from when he was first diagnosed. By doing this trip, I want to raise awareness and make a difference. The Mark Hughes Foundation funds vital research and support to brain cancer patients and I am going to walk 150kms in three days from Sydney to Newcastle to help raise funds for this cause!

The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) is a charity formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Mark’s diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013.
